New Year in the Garden

As New Year approaches, nature marks the transition from one year to the next. In the MindEcology garden this beautiful Clematis (viticella ‘Alba Luxurians’, MindEcology – Photo by Michelle Earle, 1/12/2022) has been blooming profusely since November, with masses of pure white, four-petaled flowers with delicate green tips, against a backdrop of lush green foliage.

At a time of year when so many people are feeling pressured and stressed …..the simplicity, purity and generosity of this hardy climbing plant seems something of an antidote. The Clematis has created a calming welcome for those coming to MindEcology, inspiring them to pause, observe, connect with nature, and perhaps contemplate what the ending of 2022 and beginning of 2023 means for them.

We at MindEcology wish the community health and happiness for the season and for the coming year. Do stay connected to MindEcology.com.au for more stories in the New Year about happenings in the garden, local community gardening and environmental restoration events, and updates about trending topics in Clinical Psychology.
